5th and 6th grade Latin students!
If you would like to earn an agnomen (an honorary name given for achievement), you must meet all of the following requirements in the course of one school year. It is your responsibility to bring evidence of completion to Magistra Meyer for approval.
Have at least three "Proficient" or "Extending" marks on quizzes, tests, and/or projects in Latin
Correct at least five Latin quizzes and/or tests
Submit an item for the virtual “Roma Vivit” board (instructions here).
Submit a content-related meme for the virtual meme box (instructions here).
Provide evidence of having helped a classmate in their Latin coursework (with signature of that person and clear description of what happened)
Provide evidence of having helped improve the classroom environment (with signature of a witness and clear description of your actions)
Write a “Roman Moment” card that is researched and engaging (instructions here). You have 50 total famae to use for your card.
Once you have accomplished the above items, you may present your evidence to Magistra Meyer for approval. If you are approved for an agnomen, email your name choice (in Latin and English) to Magistra Meyer.
7th and 8th grade Latin students!
