• "...he was kind and a great leader. When he conquered Spain, he set everyone free. When one Spanish woman's husband wasn't free yet, he sent people to find him."

• "...be kind and be one step ahead. When Scipio Africanus conquered Spain, he showed kindness to some of the citizens, mostly women and children. Also, when he planned the attack on Carthage, he burned down their camp and weapons, so they were weaponless. Being one step ahead of the army, he won the war."
